南京大学数据管理创新研究中心(以下简称“中心”)是南京大学在苏州首批建设的新型研究机构之一。中心以服务国家大数据战略、助力数字中国建设为指导思想,基于多学科交叉推进数据管理及数据科学专业建设,培养具备较高数字素养、系统掌握数据管理基础理论、熟练运用数智技术与方法的拔尖创新人才。中心和南京大学信息管理学院同为“信息资源管理”“双一流”建设学科、“A+”学科承建单位,拥有一支高水平的研究队伍,现有教授5人,研究员3人,其中国家级领军人才3人。中心将在承继传统信息资源管理研究优势的基础上,加大交叉融合,在数据要素与数据治理、数据智能与大数据分析、技术创新与产业智能等领域形成新的学科增长点。
招聘岗位设置
南京大学数据管理创新研究中心拟面向全球招聘有志于从事信息资源管理领域各主要研究方向的优秀青年人才到中心工作。本次拟招聘准聘助理教授、准聘副教授若干名,特别优秀的高层次人才岗位另议。招聘研究方向包括:
1. 信息资源管理/情报学
2. 管理科学与工程
3. 数据科学/数据管理
4. 科学学/技术创新管理

6.截至招聘公告发布之日未满40周岁(即指1986年2月1日以后出生),以有效期内的身份证件上的日期为准。如申请人已具有副高及以上职称,年龄可适当放宽;
7.身体健康。

About the School
The Research Institute for Data Management & Innovation of Nanjing University (hereinafter referred to as the " Institute ") is one of the first new research institutions built by Nanjing University in Suzhou. Taking “serving the national big data strategy and assisting the construction of Digital China” as its guiding ideology and basing on multi-disciplinary interconnection, the Institute aims to advance the major construction on data management and data science, and to cultivate outstanding innovative talents who possess a high level of digital literacy, a comprehensive understanding of data management theory, and proficiency in utilizing data intelligence technologies and methods.
Both the Institute and the School of Information Management of Nanjing University are responsible for the "Information Resource Management" "Double First-Class" initiative and "A+" discipline construction. The Institute currently has a high-level research team with 5 professors and 3 senior researchers, 3 of which are national-level leading talents. By inheriting the advantages of traditional information resource management research, the Institute will further promote interdisciplinary integration and create new disciplinary growth in fields such as data elements and data governance, data intelligence and big data analysis, technological innovation and industrial intelligence etc.
Positions
The Institute plans to recruit young scholars who aspire to have a career in the field of information resources management. The application is open to scholars from all over the world. There are vacancies for tenure-track assistant professor and tenure-track associate professors this year. Higher positions for particularly outstanding scholars are available and application will be considered individually. Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:

4. Science of Science/R&D Management
Qualifications
The applicant should
1.abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;
2.abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;
3.have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s);
4.have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
5.demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
6.be in good health.
